A review of a film

“Bruce Almighty” is a comedy set in a quite small American city- Buffalo. Jim Carrey plays the lead role as Bruce Nolan, a TV newsman. He wears khakis and plaid shirts on the air, he needs a haircut, and he hold his microphone as if he doesn't know which end is up. Jennifer Aniston is Grace, Bruce’s girlfriend.
Bruce has problems with almost everything. He can’t housebreak his dog, he loses his job and crashes car. Moreover, he blames the God for these things, so he becomes God for a spell when the Big Guy gets fed up listening to him whine. God decides to show Bruce how tough the job of the Almighty really is. Firstly Bruce thinks only about himself. He applies for a better job and he uses his power to give a backstabbing anchor a squeak-toy voice. Then he tries to romance Grace. But then come the thousands of voices in his head - prayers he magically organizes as emails and automates his system to reply "yes!" to all. I has very bad consequences. Film ends, when Bruce admits that he was wrong and realises that it not easy to be God.
As usual Jim played his character perfectly and with style that is so like him in all his movies. Morgan Freeman was the perfect pick for God and Jennifer Aniston was a great pick for the role opposite Jim Carey. Sometimes the story is predictable, but it has got really involving plot.
For all those who love to watch movies with Jim Carey in it I say it is a must see. A wonderful comedy that will surely live through the ages of time. Music is also worth recommendation and I’m sure it will make people laugh.
