A dog that came to the rescue

Tom works for a big company. He had always been busy and didn’t have enough time to do sports but he decided to got on holiday and went in the mountains.
He stayed in a hostel. Tom was well-organized person, so he made the plan of his departure earlier. The first point was a mountain’s wander. Tom wasn’t an excellent skier but he wanted to experience survival adventure, to detach from everyday life.
When he woke up next morning, he was happy to see that the weather was perfect for a mountain trip there were a few tiny clouds in the sky and good visibility. From his window he could see the mountain tops clearly.
After breakfast he checked equipment and went on prearranged place, where he meet skier’s group. The guide said how they should behave during the expedition and what they shouldn’t do. Before they left the chalet they heard the weather forecast – nothing announced disaster.
They were marching one after another and Tom was at the end of the group. Suddenly, thud sound came to theirs hearing and light trembling. It became more and more stronger. After w little guide’s voice shout: “Avalanche comes!”. Despite that Tom knew what he should do in such a situation, fear paralyzed him.
Tom didn’t remember what happened then. When he came round, firs what he heard was a barking dog. Tom tried to move but he wasn’t strong enough, then the dog began digging him and someone of them shouted: “Someone is there!”.
Since that event in the mountains Tom knew that he awes his life to the dog, witch arrived to rescue him.
