Informal letter

Dear Janet,
I’m spending my holiday in Prague. Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and it’s situated on the Wełtawa River. I’ve never seen such a beautiful city before. I’m staying in a lovely, historical hotel in the town centre. Do you remember Stacey? She’s staying in this hotel too. Now we are sitting in a pub and having some beer.
The weather is warm and sunny. Every day is great here. Yesterday I went to the Royal Castle and King Karol’s Bridge. I was also in the Old Town where the Town Hall with its famous clock strikes our attention. Day by day I walk along the amazing little streets. Prague belongs to the most beautiful cities in Europe, so I can admire wonderful sights.
People are friendly and tolerant. I think that they’re like that because every year so many people from different countries arrive to Prague. And in this city we can meet all nationalities. Most of Czech people have got Slavic beauty; they have pale complexion and light hair.
The food is delicious. I’ve been eating a lot of traditional food, for example knedliczki and I’ve been drinking Czech beer.
Tomorrow I’m going to Saint Wit’s Cathedral. This is a typical Gothic building. On my agenda there’s also a visit to such places as the National Museum, Gold Street, Prochow’s Tower, Saint Maria’s Church and Saint Gorge’s Basilica.
I think you should come with me here next year. Prague is a wonderful city. I’m having so much fun! Give my love to Tim and your family.
