Pollution

The living conditions on our planet are getting worse and worse. The growing pollution makes many places on Earth unsuitable to sustain life. Something needs to be done about it, because otherwise it could have very tragic consequences for all the living things.

The most dangerous of all is air pollution. The reason for it are mainly exhaust gases emitted into the atmosphere. Emissions of sulphur, carbon dioxide and derivative products of oil cause the so called “greenhouse effect”. The short-sighted policy resulted in the rapid change of the worlds climate due to the depletion of the ozone layer. We need to take the case in our hands.

Firstly, we can prevent the contamination of air by putting filters on factory chimneys, for example. This is very expensive, but it is worth the prize - imagine that you would never again suffer from breathing problems!

Another good idea would be banning cars from city centers. That would make the place cleaner, healthier and safer. One day per week (or month), the using of cars should be completely banned in every part of the city.

We should of course remember that we as a unit are responsible too - using deodorants which do not contain detrimental substances is a big step forward.

All things considered, we need to be very careful with the environment. We have only this one world and we must protect it if we want to survive.
