Hyde Park

Hyde Park is one of the most impressive major parks in Central London, offering swimming, boating, tennis, cycling, horse riding and skating. Furthermore, it has three-hundred-fifty acres in total. The park is divided by the Serpentine and the Long Water. The area was established by Henry VIII in 1536. Firstly, it was used by him as a hunting ground. But withal, a hundred years later, it had been opened for the public and became exceedingly popular almost instantly. Especially for the highly influential May Day parades.
