Kate and Anne

One day Kate and Anne was riding to school. The weather was sunny and the sun was shining. they were riding along the street and they were talking and laughing. This day promised to be calm. They did not know what is going to happen.

When the girls were in midway ,they felt that something smells. They did not know what it is but after a few seconds everything was clear. Kate was the first who saw a men who is standing in the window, wavining his hands and calling for help . From the window below was a lot of black smoke. Girls stopped their bikes and moved to help. Anne run up to the door and she tried knock on the door but it did not end successfully because the door was locked. But Kate who was standing behind Anne noted a ladder which was standing in neighbour's garden . Immediately she ran to the neighbour and she took the ladder. After that the girl climbed up the ladder and she helped the men to go down. Than they called to the fire brigade. Happily, this dangerous situation finished successfully.
This heroic deed did not go unnoticed. The men informed about this what happen local media and school directorates. The mayor organized a celebration and the girls were rewarded. The firefighter gave the heroine cups and he praised them. Kate and Ann were cheerful ,excited and satisfied.The girls convinced that it is worthwhile to help others people.
