Shopping in Płock

Plock is one of the biggest cities in Poland. There are a large department stores and plenty smaller shops.
Grocka, Tumska, and Krolewiecka street are the centre of shopper’s paradise. There you can buy clothes, books, perfumes, shoes, newspapers, cassettes or toys. There are many great sport shop’s, for example: Adidas, Nike, Americanos, Big Star, Diverse, Alpinus, Puma and Reebok.
On Tumska street is Argentum – the best jeweller’s in Plock.

If you want to buy magazines, newspapers or CD you find it in Empik (on Grocka street).
Auchan – this is large, modern department store, situated a short distance from city centre. There you can buy everything what you want.
Tiger (department store), offers a great variety of skirts, leather jacket and jewellery.
In Rossman on Jachowicza street you can buy all cosmetics.

Shops in Plock are usually open from nine or ten a.m. till about six p.m. from Monday to Friday (on Saturday to two p.m.). A lot of shops are open also on Sunday.
The big sales come after Christmas and before the autumn collections.

Maybe Plock isn’t a paradise to shopper’s but shopping is a great fun. There is always something for everyone’s packet and taste.
