Come and see The Mazovian Museum. You’ll will certainly enjoy it!
The museum consist of two floors, where we can see different rooms. On the first floor we can see: middle-class’ room, dinning room, Belgian room, dressmaker’s room and bedroom. We can see in them utilizable art for example: furniture, cutlery, lamps, dinner - services, curtains and many other. You’ll be amazed how “usuall” things can look as work of art.
On the same floor there are also gallery of painting and Polish sculptures of 19th and 20th century. You can see here well-known paintings of Teodor Axentowicz for example: “Spring”, beautiful sculptures: of Konstanty Laszczka – “Wodnik”, “Niewolnica”, “Faun grający na aulosie” and “Melancholia” and many others.
There’s also a collection of artistic craft - ceramics, metal & jewellery and glass.
On the second floor there is an exhibition called “Płocczanie in fight for freedom in 19th-20th century”.
That was only small part of things which you can see there. If you want to spend your free time in interesting way come to Mazovian Museum – it won’t be waste of time.
