On the 25th of December, people in Poland and all over the world celebrate Christmas. Everyone likes Christmas because we can spend it with our family. A few days before Christmas people prepare themselves cleaning their houses, doing shopping, buying presents, sending Christmas postcards and decorating Christmas trees. On the 24th of December, on Christmas Eve, people gather together at the table and have an unusual supper. There are twelve traditional Christmas dishes that mainly consist of fish. During this family meeting a special extract about the birth of Christ from the Bible is read, then people wishes to each other, after wards, they sing Christmas carols and at midnight they take part in Midnight Mass. Christmas is one of the most liked holidays because people can have a good time them.
