- czynności, które w danym momencie w przyszłości będą już trwały od pewnego czasu:
- By next year I will have been working for the same company for over 20 years. (W przyszłym roku będę pracował dla tej samej firmy odponad dwudziestu lat.)
- By 3 pm she will have been working on the project for 7 hours. (O trzeciej będzie już pracowała nad projektem od siedmiu godzin.)
- We will have been discussing that topic for over half an hour by 1 pm. (O pierwszej będziemy już dyskutować na ten temat od ponad półgodziny.)
Okoliczniki czasu w Future Perfect Continuous: by… for... (o... od...):
By 6 pm I will have been waiting for him for 3 hours. (O szóstej będę już czekać na niego od trzech godzin.)
