A Psychopath kidnaps and murders young women in the middle west USA. Beliving that only other criminal can help with catching murderer, FBI sends agent Clarice Starling (J. Foster) to interview a mental ill prisoner, that can give a psychological explanation of reasons of murder and traces to other actions of murderer. Prisoner, psychiatrist, Dr. Hannibal Lecter is a brilliant murderer-cannibal, who will help agent Starling, if she tells him about her complicated life. This odd relation helps her to confront with her fears and leads her to meet face to face with the crazy, frantic murderer.

My favourite scene is the moment, when agent Starling goes into murderer’s house and finds a kidnapped girl.

I think it’s very interesting and ambitious film, because it makes you think about the essence of aberration of human psyche.
