How has the Internet changed the way you live?

In these days, many people have the Internet in their houses. It is probably the most useful thing in our life but like everything, it has advantages and disadvantages. The Internet for sure has changed our life in bigger or smaller degree.
Firstly having the Internet is so useful. We can find almost everything what we need to school, work or for our hobbies in the net so we stop use books, encyclopedias and newspapers because, it is faster to use the net.
Secondly, we often do not meet with friends, because we can talk with many of them by the net in the same time. Sometimes is only way in which we have a contact.
On the other hand, the Internet is sometimes helpful when one of our friends or relatives goes abroad or lives far away form us we can still talk with him and know that he is all right. The Internet is also way to find our school mate or people we know but now we do not have address or phone number to them.
Moreover we stop read a really books. We can have new books free from the net. We can read them on the computer screen so we do not have to go out and rent or buy books. E-books are very popular.
In conclusion, I think the Internet has changed way we live in a big degree. We have a lot of new views but it is also a disadvantage ? we do not have time for real people and for other pleasures.
