Living in the country or in the city

I think living in the city is better than living in the country. Cities consist of thousand of inhabitants and the majority of people in the world occupy the city area
There are certain arguments of living in the city. To begin with, when you live in a city there are more opportunities to find a good, well-paid job and make a successful career or it is easier to open a company
Secondly, if you are a city-dweller you have a better choice of schools and higher quality of education
In addition, cities have better and more convenient infrastructure. The network of roads is in a good conditions and the roads are well-marked with many sign posts. If you live in the city there is a good selection of entertainment for example cinemas, theatres, discos, water parks, museums, galleries and sport facilities.
On the other hand, living in the city has also disadvantages. First of all, is not healthy to live in the urban area because the air in the cities is polluted with carbodioxide and sulphur generated by car fumes.
What is more, there is heavy traffic and it is difficult to find a parking place, especially in the centre. These two aspects result from a great number of cars
Another point is that the cities are overpopulated. Both shops, streets and public transport are overcrowded. People feel mental discomfort connected with living conditions.
To sum up, in spite of these disadvantages, many inhabitants love their cities and cannot imagine themselves living in the country even if it is healthier and more peaceful
