Globalisation is an extremely wide process, which has influence on all spheres of our life : economic, political, cultural in worldwide scale. Integrating of operations, processes and subjects is a principal feature of globalisation into worldwide functioning system on different levels. Permanent height of unemployment, destructions of environment, poisoned food, civilization diseases, crimes, addictions – these problems, become more and more general. But not only bad things are approaching, some of those good as well. So I am about to discuss some advantages and disadvanages considering this matter.

On the one hand, while opening any institution, the amount of the new made workplaces is stressed. However it is not said how many people lost their workplaces in the earlier eliminated institutions. Consequently unemployment benefits determine load for the society.

Secondly a matter of agriculture. Traditional model of agriculture, where a local, independent farmer sells his products directly to a consumer, for a corporation it only means masses of money, which is possible to take over. As a result, gigantic farms as well as technologies permit to eliminate traditional farmers intensely at the cost of reduction of employment.

What is also important is that transnational companies wish to place environmentally degrading industries in countries that do not have adequate environmental controls.
Resource industries such as forestry, mining and fisheries exploit the resources of poor countries with little regard to either the long term cost to the country in terms of the loss of a national resource, or to the environment.

On the other hand, globalisation is like an engine of commerce; one which brings an increased standard of living which means prosperity to developing countries and further wealth to First World and Third World countries.

Moreover, Globalization has drastically improved access of technological latecomers to advanced technologies which is extremely important for development. Many within developing countries see the internet as an opportunity to gain access to knowledge and services from around the world in a way that would have been unimaginable previously. Internet kiosks, mostly facilitating email with overseas relatives, for example, are springing up in many parts of Africa.

What is more, globalization brings us somekind of cultural exchange, thanks to it we are not only able to absorb different cultures but also to learn other languages better.
It is said that globalisation has promoted information exchange, led to a greater understanding of other cultures and allowed democracy to triumph over autocracy.

To sum up, some of these fields are related to one another. However both of these sides can show something completely different. But due to the above I will express my opinion in favour of globalisation.
