Warsaw is the largest city in Poland and has been the capital for four centuries. It is situated in the centre of this country, therefore the level of economy is higher than in other cities. Warsaw has a rich history,interesting historical monuments and very exciting places .It is also a capital of cultural.
There are beautiful churches, houses, palaces, parks and monuments. For example, the most beautiful of the parks - Łazienki - the summer residence of the last Polish king. It is the favourite place for walks of the inhabitants of Warsaw. In the Łazienki park there are the monument of Chopin and the Palaceon the water. In Warsaw there are over fifty museums, over fifty galleries and over thirty professional theatres.
There are many restaurants which offer traditional Polish food, which are very popular in other countries. There are also cafes, pubs and night clubs, where people spending their free-time. Teenagers never got bored because of many interesting activities and entertainment facilities.
The level of transport in Warsaw is not so high. The majority of young people always use the cheapest possible form of transport - namely ‘buses’, but some of older people (not only) go on the underground. We have only one underground in Poland, and it is located in Warsaw.
The Polish main sports are football and motor-racing. Lately, the most popular sporting personality is a ski-jumper Adam Małysz who has already won lots of prizes both in the country and abroad. The most important sports events are the league football matches of regional teams which take place in spring (now people are waiting for the World championship). Every bigger town has at least one stadium. You can find them in Warsaw.
I think that Warsaw is a very beautiful place to visit…. Last year I visited this place and I enjoyed oneself. I think that everyone should visit Warsaw, becouse this place have so much to offer us.
