I’ve been to lots of different countries. For example, I’ve been on holidays with my family in Denmark, Hungary, Czech Republic and two times in Italy (once on the church trip). I’ve also travelled on school trips in Poland and Germany.
In August 2003 I was two weeks in France with my family. We drove there by our car. We were one week in small alpine village – Ugine. We were living in a big, wooden house of our friend’s uncle, so in my room I had beautiful view from the window. Everyday we had one trip – we were climbing and walking in the mountain. We’ve driven by the cable car to the Mount Blanc – it was amazing view over Chamonix and area. We’ve also been to Albertville. We were watching there places of Winter Olympic Games. We’ve gone to Annecy and I was flying by the hang-glider over the Annecy Lake. It was great! It’s the most dangerous thing I’ve ever done in my life. W felt stressed at firs, but after 3 minutes I was quiet and I could look at the landscape as long as I want. Of course I was flying with an instructor, Pascal, who was asking me “Are you OK?” again and again. He was very nice – I have some photos with him. It was unusual experience for me and I want to do this again!
That wasn’t the end of my holidays. After a week in the mountains we arrived to Nice. It’s very nice and big city on the south coast of France. We were swimming in the Mediterranean Sea a lot. We’ve been also to Cannes (it was first time when I saw palms live :D) and Monaco. We have eaten many sea fruits – most of them were awful, but I liked one thing – shrimps.
At the end of the holidays we were all very happy and we wanted to stay there. I think I can say it now: I love south-east France!
