Thank you very much for your interest of spending some time in my country. I’m sure that you will enjoy it and have a good time here. If you would like to know my recommendations regarding places to see in Poland, I would recommend the following.

First of all you should spend some time in my home town Sandomierz. This is a beautiful old town located next to the Vistula river. A lot of nice buildings, beautiful old square, cathedral, small streets a creating a unique atmosphere. There is also an underground tourists route which give a lot of fantastic memories

My second choice is Krakow. One of oldest Polish town, located 160 km west from Sandomierz.
Krakow is a one of the prettiest towns in Poland, always full of travelers from all world. It has many interesting and impressive sights to see. Wawel is the most known monumental object in city. This castel is famouse for royal rooms, chapel and bell and ornamented royal tombs. Today defensive walls are used to show and exhibit paintings and scultures. Dragon lair is the place often visited by families with children. In front of the lair there is the sculpures of dragon which blows fire. It is highlight for children. In the town centre there are Sukiennice. At ground floor there are many shops where you can buy sourenirs. You can also eat something there. There are many restaurants and cafes. For evenings entertainment you can chose theatres or cinemas. There is a big choice. You can go to Old theater or to Słowacki theater. If you are interested in buying clothes, the numberof the modern shopping centers together with the exclusive small shops will for sure meet you expectations. This is a very good option for a raining day. Another option for a raining day would be Wieliczika salt mine just 12 kilometers from the city center. Easy accessible buy train, bus or taxi is offering you memorable three hours underground tour thru the old part of the salt mine. You can’t missing.

Finally I think you should end up in the small coffee shop in Zakopane – winter capitol of Poland. This small town situated in the Tatra mountains will show you a specific Polish folklore and culture. Together with the fantastic overview over the Tatra mountains. This town is worth visiting in Summer or in the winter, there is always something happening there what attracts everyone. I would recommend to tray the typical food for this region which could be found only there. I’m sure you will like it.

Of course there is more interesting places to see in Poland, but having in mind your limited time, I have picked up only this three places just an a introduction of you to my lovely country. I hope to see you soon, if you have any more requests please don’t hesitate to contact me.
