My dream house

When I was a child I wanted to live in a castle – I wanted to be a princess. I think a lot of children dream about this, don’t they?
As I aged my dream didn’t change a lot. I still would love to have a castle, but a modern one and live there with a lovely ‘prince’. Beautiful dream isn’t it?
One of the and the feature most important for me is character – something unique –so my castle would be based near a lake in very green woodland.
The entrance to the property would be a beautiful big white gate with big pots of flowers on both sides. When it becomes dark the stylish lamps will appear all around the gate and along the driveway to the house. On the sides of the long driveway would be a huge a romantic garden with different kind of flowers and trees.
The castle would be painted white with red roof and huge windows. The reception hall would be accessed through a huge oak door on the first floor from a beautiful stairway on the left of the castle.
Downstairs I want to have 6 very big rooms.
First will be a library with lot of books. I love reading so this place should be cosy – with open fireplace and very soft Turkish carpet. It’s going to be a huge window there – natural light is the best for eyes. By the window I will have a comfortable sofa – just perfect place for relax with a book.
As the second I am going to have a music room with black piano and few comfortable yellow sofas around it. I love classical music as much as reading. So this room I am going to use quite often also.
From the music room I will be able to entrance the play room – perfect for evening with friends. I will have there some low tables and a lot of pillows around – kind of Chinese style.
The next door will bring me out of the main building into the greenhouse. I love all kind of plants – but especially the tropical ones. So here I am going to have lot of different plants, flowers and… I will have tropical birds flying free. The greenhouse should be made of glass only to have as much light as possible.
Back to the main building I enter a huge kitchen – with all modern equipment – I like to cook as easy as possible. I need there for sure an oven, a microwave, a toaster, a dishwasher and lots of others. I want to have also a wash machine there.
From the kitchen there will be big, wide open doors to the dining room. In the middle I will have round table for 20 people. It will be made of wood and paint black. High chairs with it make me feel like in scenery of Camelot when King Arthur and Knights of the Round Table were living there. On the walls I would love to have some painting about it – to make it really characterize.
Next is a living room – painted warm pastel colours. I love the cosy places so also here I want to have a fireplace. In the corner I will placed a bar full of different kind of alcohol, made of wood with some tall chairs. On one of the walls I am going to have a huge plasmatic TV screen. Under I will have all modern things, as: DVD, video, all kind of decoders for satellite TV.
We are back to the hall now. There are two pair f stairs. One of them are going to the cellar where I have my great wine collection. I also would love to have there gym – I like being active.
Again I am in the reception hall and now I am taking stairs to go up now.
Here I have 4 big bedrooms – all of them painted in pastel colours and with big, double beds. Only the wardrobes and carpets are in different styles.
And bathroom – oh I love this place. I am going to have here a shower, basin and loo of course and my favourite huge Jacuzzi. I want to have there a lot of green plants – to feel like on Tropical Island.
And this is my dream. Will it come true one day? I can only hope so.
