”The Lord of the Rings - Trilogy” is an American ‘fantasy film’ directed by Peter Jackson. Screenplay of this film is based on the great book written by John Ronald Rouel Tolkien. E. Wood plays Frodo a young hobbit and S. Austin plays his gardener, who is also his best-friend. An old wizard Gandalf, in this role set an excellent sir Ian MacKellen, asks Frodo to destroy the magic One Ring, which is Dark Lord Sauron’s an ancient artefact that could annihilate all human kind. Due to this threat, they have to travel with six other companions into the heart of Sauron’s land, the unfriendly, dreadful volcano, the only place, where the One Ring can be destroyed.
Fellowship, that consists of four hobbits, two men, one wizard, an elf and a dwarf, wander through stunning Misty Mountains, huge and unknown mines of Moria, the dwarf underground Kingdom. They fight shoulder to shoulder with ancient army of Ents, the Tree-herders, test their courage in great battles and sieges against orcs, show a power of friendship setting free hobbits from Sauron’s prison. I’m not going to say how their mission will finished, because I do not what to spoil your pleasure.
WETA Workshop, firm responsible for all special effects and decoration, truly deserved its two Best Special Effects Oscar and one for Decoration. In my opinion LotR’s battle scenes are the best and the most realistic in all cinematographic. There isn’t a single boring moment, and the final scenes surly sink deep into your memory for a very long time. If you’ re a really fantasy freak, you should see all three part in director’s cut one by one, you won’t be disappointed
“The Lord of The Rings” is a wonderful film about friendship, courage and responsibility, which nobody can afford to miss. It is a cinematic masterpiece that has everything you may want from a film: a great long story, excellent acting and a lot of marvellous special effects.
