Dear Kate,
Thanks for your postcard. We’ve been here for five days now and the weather’s been cold. I’ve always wanted to have a long holiday on the Alps – and here I am!
We’ve done lots of things since we arrived here. We’ve been on a couple of terrific climbs on the two mountains and I’ve started to learn hang-gliding. I’ve had seven lessons and I’ve already learnt to go quite fast.
On the first day here, I catch a cold, but it quickly disappear and all it’ great. What’s the weather been like in England?? I hope sun is shinnig...
I haven’t met any friends so far, but I have met interesting person – a nice girl from Germany and she has given me her photo I will show you when I come back! I must go now – it’s time for dinner. See you in a couple of day.
