What makes a real friend? Describe your best friend.

A real friend is someone you can trust. It must be also a friendly, easy-going, warm and optimistic person. It would be a big quality if he or she could give you a lot of useful advice.

My best friend is Elizabeth. She’s my peer and she’s a student. We met in the first class of a high school, but we have been friends for two years.

Most people would say that she’s very attractive. She’s rather slim and not very tall. She’s got blue eyes and shoulder-length straight fair hair. During the week when she’s at school she usually wears jeans and jumpers, but when she goes out at the weekends she likes shimmering stylish clothes.

Elle’s great fun to be with because we’ve got the same sense of humour. However, she is also an outgoing and cheerful person. On the other hand, she’s often untidy and impatient. If she meets someone doesn’t like she might say some nasty things to them. Elle’s also especially good with animals – she’s got 8 dogs!

I’m very glad to have Elizabeth as a friend. She’s very important to me because she can always understand me and I am sure that we’ll be friends even when we leave school.
