"I was planning to give my friend a surprise..."

I was planning to give my friend a surprise. His eighteen birthday got closer and closer and I didn't have any original ideas. Finally, with other friends, we decided to make a typical surprise-party.
At first, we shared the rules. Olaf had to make cakes and invite guests, Marika – to decorate house, but my rule was more complicated. I had to prepare a short film with wishes from unknown people from the street! I was feeling confused, because I'm very shy. But it was for Charles, so I had to fight with my weaknesses.
The best place to meet unknown people in the city is always the centre. With a professional camera, borrowed from my sister, I went to the park nearly the town hall. First twenty minutes was like a horror! I didn't come to anyone because I got a panic attack and I hid behind the trees.
Then I saw a man in black tracksuit, who sat on the grass and was observing the sun. Like in a dream, I realised that it's my favourite actor – Hugh Laurie! I felt a power and ran to him. After explaining my problem, I asked Hugh for help and he promised to make for my friend a short film with his theatral groupe. I couldn't believe!
The Great Day had come. My friends organised a big party in Marika's house and „my” film was a special attraction. Charles – a birthday person – was very excited about our idea. He said it was the best birthday party he had ever had.
