Describe the life of a person you admire.

A person who I would like to introduce is my neighbour – Alice. She leads a wonderful family life, she is always cheerful and happy. She is 34, she has been married for 10 years and she has a 6-year-old daughter named Margaret.

Alice is a beautiful, tall woman with soft, pale skin, long brown hair and sweet mouth. What make her really amazing are her big shiny green eyes. But… unfortunately they haven’t seen anything for a long time. Alice is blind. She has never seen her daughter and even her husband. She’s been blind for 22 years.

Anyway, Alice’s life deserves admiration for many reasons. First of all, she is a great mother and a wife. When she was 21 she met Ian, who is her husband now. Ian says that he had never dreamt of being married to such an amazing person. He loves Alice very much and I’m sure that he would never let her down. Alice feels safe with Ian she calls him her eyes.

Alice is also wonderful mother. Margaret can always rely on her. Alice is very patient, sensitive and warm-hearted. She knows answers to every question, even those very silly. Being so patient and sensible, she even helps others to solve their problems.

I met Alice 3 years ago when she and her family moved to my little town. At the beginning, everyone was amazed about her beauty but no one realised that she was blind. Once she invited me to her house. I met her wonderful daughter and her loyal and friendly husband. And from that moment she Alice became the person I absolutely admire.

In the end, I would like to say that Alice really deserves admiration. She shows people how to love, how to live and she teaches us how to be a better person. She has shown that human being doesn’t need eyes to see.
