Trying to imagine the world without money might be extremely difficult as everything in modern and global society seems to be based on some form of currency. I strongly believe that the world without money would be much better and easier.
In the first place, materialism would not exist anymore. Our sense of value would change as we would distribute goods due to needs rather than the ability to pay. Moreover, not the wallet size and wealth but skills, ideas and achievements would be our status symbol.
Furthermore, in a way of life without money, we would be free to do what is our passion and enjoy the work with no economic fears. Meaning of the "work" would change as a minor to help people, cooperation would replace competing with others.
Opponents of this view say that mankind without paycheck would not be organized and motivated enough to make progress. What is more, our standards of living would be very low and poor. However, team work would be more efficient as people would share their ideas, thoughts and knowledge. The rat race connected with incomes would not exist and everybody would have the possibility to live in normal conditions.
To conclude, I believe that the world without any form of currency and trade would be the much better place for us to live in. Problems such as poverty, unemployment, inflation and crimes related to profit would be completely eliminated.
