If we compare British and Polish education system, we will see a lot of differences. The basic question is if are there any rules in British system that we could inculcate to polish education?

First of all, school uniforms are common in Great Britain, almost 50% of pupils have to wear it. It should be adopted to polish schools. In Poland a huge division on poor and rich students occurs. If everybody had the same uniform, less wealthy students would not feel as worse people.

Secondly, British students have to choose three subjects they will learn during the last two years of the secondary school and thanks to it they can precisely prepare to their A-levels. In Poland pupils study all the subjects and they must learn on their own to the matura exams.

On the other hand, childhood in Britain is quite short. Pupils start their primary education when they are four, in Poland when they are seven. British students fast get to know what a competition is and it causes an increasing number of duties. It is not good for them because they should just trifle and find out about surrounded us world.

There are positive and negative sides of British education system. But in my opinion we should use some of the rules from that system to improve Polish education. More emphasis should be put on subjects students are going to take during their matura exam. The second, we should adopt the idea with school uniforms which will destroy division on poor and rich students.
