"Break the code and reveal the secret of Knights Templar" - a summer adventure of a millennium!
"National Treasure" is an adventure movie from 2004, directed by Jon Turteltaub, honored with a nomination to a prestige reward 'Saturn', as a 'The best action/adventure/thriller film'. With Nicolas Cage, Diane Kruger and Sean Bean featuring, it became a box office hit in a flash. I think it’s a perfect choice for those who want to experience an adventure of their life!
Benjamin Gates (Nicolas Cage) dedicated his whole life to searching of a treasure. Few hints left by creators of the Constitution of the United States of America lead Gates and his companions - Gates' old friend - Riley Poole (Justin Bartha) and an archivist - Abigail Chase (Diane Kruger) - to the original Declaration of Indipendence, which conceals a treasure map. In order to aquire the treasure, they need to steal the best-guarded document in the USA, before anybody gets ahead them. In this race against time, Gates will be forced to escape from FBI and his ruthless enemy - Ian Howe (Sean Bean), to unriddle numerous clues and reveal the 2000-years-old mystery. The actors play in such a gripping way, that obviously you’ll be on the edge of your seat!
I’d like to recommend this film to those who are fed up with banal, dull movies and look for something more original and intelligent. Especially during these heating summer days, this spine-chilling move will be just what you need!
