On the one hand it seems to be right that parents are arguing about many commercials and adverts which make products for adults only more attractive for youngsters. Apart from that, some may say: “is it good to advertise something that might destroy your health?”
On the other hand, the ban would be against freedom of speech, and what is more, people should be allowed to decide for themselves. Besides this, do not you think that there were to many bad accidents caused by vodka or cancers caused by cigarettes? Enough warnings have already been given.
In conclusion, it would be hard for desperate parents to ban advertising of dangerous products. As far as I am able to judge there is no difference, if someone want to smoke or drink, he will do it. The choice is in our hands.
